Okay. I’m here, yet again, to tell you how much I love in-home sessions. However, this session is not really “in-home”. It’s at my studio right here in Hamilton! I love being able to shoot couples and families in this homey studio because it gives all the intimate feeling of being at home but in a space that is seriously made to be photographed. Sometimes our homes aren’t so tidy - hey, mine isn’t. And sometimes we don’t have the best light - hello, all my plants are dead. So this is the perfect compromise! I know I have said this a million times but it remains true. In home sessions are one of my favourite things to shoot.

I’ve been working with this lovely little family since before their eldest daughter was even born. These images tell the story of such treasured moments and memories in people’s lives. It’s always such an honour to not only see life unfold but to be the one to capture it and especially when you are trusted with those moments over and over again.
